Amid the current crisis being faced by the aviation industry, Civil Aviation Minister, Praful Patel has acknowledged that it is a tough time for the entire industry worldwide.
However, the Union civil aviation minister maintained that there would be no intervention from his ministry in case of sackings by airlines.
Leading private carrier Jet Airways sacked 1000 employees that include mostly cabin crew and engineers.
Patel is presently in Hyderabad to attend India's first ever international exhibition and conference on civil aviation -- "India Aviation 2008".
"We have to address these challenges and we've formed expert groups for the same," the minister said.
