Yes Bank's non-executive Chairman Ashok Kapur is among those killed in the terror attack in Hotel Oberoi, one of the three places seized by terrorists.

Kapur, who had gone to the hotel on Wednesday night, was found dead on Friday. His body was identified this evening, bank's Managing Director Rana Kapoor told PTI.

"He was an extra-ordinary human being with a great sense of ethics. It is a great loss to us," Kapoor said.

Security forces cleared the hotel of terrorists this afternoon and then conducted clearing operations, in the course of which Kapur's body was found.

A Yes Bank source had said earlier that Kapur had gone to the hotel on Wednesday night, and had since been missing.

Oberoi, a luxury hotel at Nariman Point in south Mumbai, was targeted along with Ratan Tata-run Taj Hotel and eight other locations by the terrorists.
