Paying tribute to the security personnel who sacrificed their lives in the Mumbai terror attacks, Sahara India Pariwar on Saturday said the company will pay the family of each martyr five times the gross salaries every month for the next 10 years.

Subrata Roy-led Sahara India Pariwar said in a statement that as an expression of its emotional empathy and solidarity, the company has decided to pay per month an amount equivalent to five times the gross salaries of the security personnel who sacrificed their lives for the next 10 years to their respective families.

If their children are not mature even after 10 years, then this payment shall continue until they reach 21 years of age, the statement added.

"We at Sahara India Pariwar salute the brave Army, NSG and police personnel who in a display of unmatched valour grit and courage, managed to subdue the nefarious deeds of these evil forces," the statement said.
