NHPC has announced that Ministry of Power vide letter dated 21 October 2009 has appointed Sudhir Kumar, Joint Secretary (Hydel), Ministry of Power as Part-time Director on the board of the company with effect from 21 October 2009.

The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 23 October 2009.
