Project lender IFCI spurted 13.78% to Rs 49.95. The stock was the second biggest gainer in the 'A' group.

State-run fertiliser company Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers advanced 12.17% to Rs 65.90 on reports the company is set to enter cement distribution through its 6,000-strong dealer network. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in the 'A' group.
Public sector undertaking Hindustan Copper rose 9.98% to Rs 233.05. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in the 'A' group.
