We request the Honorable Finance minister to consider giving some benefits to honest taxpayers, service class, whose tax is deducted at source by way of cheaper home loans, so that they can invest in buying a decent residential flat/ house, before retirement. Some system of rewarding an honest taxpayer, will also help the government in increased tax collections.
I am sure that the UPA will translate the expectations of countrymen into reality. The sanctity of mandate will be intact and respected by dear Pranab Babu. I am sure new budget will help fight recesion and put better step forward for flourishing economy.
The FM should deliver populast budget contributing towards middle/lower middle class people who should get relief.
Creation of jobs in the core industrial sector is required. It will create income and this revive demand in the market.
Please do not tinker with small savings interest rate as demanded by the bankers. It will hurt senior citizens badly.
An attractive tax concession on water harvesting for each existing and new house shall not only generate significant additional employment but also replenish the critically depleting under ground water tables. This will also ensure potable water security in all parts of India. This change will ensure future generations with sufficient life sustaining water resources.
Check fiscal deficit and bring back black moneyfrom abroad. The budget should tackle tax evaders effectively.
No..I don't think the Budget in itself can rescue Indian economy from the global recession, even though all of us hope it does.
Even though the markets are looking up but the effects of recession don't seem to be fade away. And I doubt if the budget is strong enough to make a difference.
With stock market looking better along with a stable government...it seems like the budget should be able to provide solace to the economy.

"I am disappointed with the Budget.
The shipping and shipbuilding
industry generates a lot of revenues
and employment. But it finds no mention
of the sector in the Budget."
