FIIs net sellers of Rs 355.30 crore in futures and options segments on December 20

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position was 34.44%

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 355.30 crore in futures and options segments on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 290.81 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 481.85 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 197.45 crore and they bought stock options to the tune of Rs 33.19 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on December 20, 2011 is 34.44%.
