Why should tax payers pay service tax, sales tax, property tax, road tax, toll tax with money which they got after TDS for income tax? What ever tax has to be paid to any government (central or state) has to be paid from income before tax. If i get 50000 after income tax deduction at source and then pay property tax from that 50000, it means that i am paying tax on tax.

I wanted to know how an increase of 19-20(percent) everyyear has been granted to DISCOMS and JAL board in DELHI, when the inflation and Interest rates are only 8-10(percent). Are they over and above the Inflation.

Dear Sir, I am small person who dosen't understand gloable economy that you do. My simple problem is unjustified price hikes in recent years. If sinking global economic problems are resulting in price hikes in India then why global economic upsurge didn't resulted in lowering prices during 200 to 2007. I am seeing price hikes of essential goods irrespective of global economic scene. PLz reduce this burden from our heads
