Central Bank of India Revises Rates on FCNR Deposits

New Delhi: Central Bank of India has revised the interest rates on Foreign Currency Non-Resident (Bank) Account (FCNR-B).

The new rates will be applicable from today, the bank said in a release.

The Bank now offers interest of 3.82 per cent for dollar deposit of 5 Years, 3.5 per cent for GBP deposit of 5 years, 2.41 per cent for EURO deposit of 5 years, 3.86 per cent for Canadian Dollar deposit of 5 years and 4.74 per cent for Australian Dollar deposit of 5 years.

These revised rates are valid till January 31, 2015.

Central Bank of India shares closed at Rs 92.75 apiece on the BSE, up 1.09 per cent from the previous close.
