New Delhi: Infrastructure firm IVRCL on Friday said it has won contracts worth Rs 351 crore in Karnataka related to irrigation and drinking water projects.For latest news on Business & Budget 2017, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.
"IVRCL is glad to announce the Irrigation and Water Divisions of the company have bagged orders of the value of Rs 350.96 crore," the company said in a regulatory filing.
The company said it's irrigation division has been awarded Rs 324.67 crore worth projects by Cauvery Neeravari Nigama Ltd in Karntaka for providing drinking water to 83 tanks in some districts.
The work also entails design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of vertical turbine pumping machineries, it said, adding that the project is scheduled to be completed in 24 months.
Its water division won a Rs 26.29-crore project from Karanataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board that includes 11 KV express feeder lines for remodelling of water supply distribution system and allied works in Bannur town.
Shares in IVRCL, on Friday, ended 5.35 per cent higher at Rs 9.85 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index finished up 0.33 per cent.
