NIIT Tech Bags Rs 226-Crore Contract From UK Regulator

NIIT Technologies on Monday said it has entered into a pact worth over Rs 226 crore with UK communications regulator Ofcom for providing information and communications technology (ICT) services.

New Delhi: NIIT Technologies on Monday said it has entered into a pact worth over Rs 226 crore with UK communications regulator Ofcom for providing information and communications technology (ICT) services.

The total value of the contract is 23.30 million pounds (about Rs 226.31 crore).

"...the company has entered into an agreement with Ofcom the UK communications regulator for provision of ICT services," NIIT Technologies said in a filing to the BSE.

At 1:42 p.m., shares in NIIT Tech were trading 3.52 per cent higher at Rs 555.60 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index was down 0.50 per cent.
