The panel wants to know from the RBI governor as well as the finance ministry officials the number of junked currency that was deposited in bank accounts post November 8, 2016 decision to demonetise higher denomination notes.
"The Government will bring before Parliament four GST legislations and there will be a fifth legislation as Excise and Customs Acts will have to be amended. We will bring these legislations together to Parliament in the next few days," Arun Jaitley said.

All notes in the denomination of Rs 10 issued by the bank in the past will continue to be the legal tender, RBI said.
