Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 113536.82 crore on December 02 and the total numbers of contract traded on the day were 4614730.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 14001.34 crore, Stock Futures Rs 11659.79 crore and Index Options Rs 84448.92 crore while, the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 3426.77 crore.
For the day the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 0.94 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 0.96 and that of Stock Options was 0.58.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Patni 14.36, Voltas 6.00, Mphasis 3.00, Dr. Reddy 2.33 and Cipla 2.29.
Among most active underlying, SBI witnessed an addition of 7.59 per cent of Open Interest in the December month futures contract followed by ICICI Bank which witnessed an addition of 1.48 per cent of Open Interest in the near month contract.
Meanwhile RIL witnessed an addition of 8.06 per cent in the December month futures. Also, Tata Steel witnessed an addition of 2.33 per cent in Open Interest in the December month contract. Finally, Tata Motors witnessed an addition of 8.91 per cent of Open Interest in the near month futures contract.
