New Delhi: Shares in Onmobile Global, India's largest value-added service (VAS) company, plunged to its lifetime low of Rs 32.65 Thursday. At 3.05 p.m., it traded 16.60 per cent lower at Rs 33.40 on the BSE, while the Sensex traded 0.32 per cent higher at 17,022.
The trading volume in the stock was also abnormally high today. By 3 p.m., nearly 1.3 crore shares had traded hands on the NSE against 1 million shares traded yesterday.
The Bangalore based firm offers services like mCommerce solutions, missed call alerts, multimedia push services, mobile advertising, mobile search, ringtones, and voice SMS.
It was the first Indian telecom VAS Company to go public in 2008.
