By increasing Excise Duty,Service Tax Govt. increase blackmoney. General public may be try to avoid service on bill. Public have to pay service tax, excise duty,Toll tax. I think Govt. have to see more area where they charge Tax from public. Now inflation is increase and So Govt. have excuse to not reduce PLR.

What a shame... Rail Minister asked to "roll back" or "resign"... Just because he didn't consulted his Party Chief.. Shame on TMC who changed after coming into power... We the people of India wants hassle free all round development.. For God sake stop showing power in every action of Central Government... Today, it was Indian Railway Budget and not that of any political party... I oppose any action of any political leader / party in the way of Our Country's Development...

The hike in the railway fares was staring in the very face of the government due to the dismal state of the railway coffers. It is to be understood that the hike was in the interest of the greater good, not petty political one.The minister shouldn't be dealt with the way he is being as of now.

Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee faces a daunting task to balance the budget on 16 March 2012. While revenue receipts are down, there is no cut in expenditure. The slowdown in growth means more worries. A surging fiscal deficit could stoke inflation. We would like to hear from you. Let us know your views or feel free to ask any queries you could have on Budget 2012. Best Rajas Kelkar Editor, NDTVProfit.com
