FY13 growth is likely to be at 5.7-5.8%, says Dr. Saumitra Chaudhuri of the Planning Commission. He expects growth to have picked up in the second half of the fiscal year due to a number of factors, including a pick-up in consumption and some segments of manufacturing. He adds that lower government spending will only impact Q3 and Q4 growth on the margins.
